Madeline (Maddie) Kratzer is a senior who has pledged herself to the St. Charles High Newspaper cause for three years in a row. Maddie likes a warm, humid climate full of rocks to bask on and the occasional rain to help her shed her skin. Nevermind, that’s a lizard. She likes to sit by the window and wait for Melanie, but she should know that Melanie always appears when it’s least expected. She loves silly little cats on Instagram, the band Fall Out Boy and building pyramids and towers on Minecraft. She hopes to make the best of her last year of Newspaper, but you know what they say; you can take the girl from Newspaper but you can’t take Newspaper from the girl (nobody has ever said that).
