Violet Lewis, Staff Writer

Violet Lewis is a sophomore at St. Charles High School. This is her first year on newspaper, but she has previous experience in journalism classes here at SCHS. Taking Journalism last year opened the opportunities for her to get involved in Newspaper. Lewis is also involved in sports and athletics inside and outside of school. She enjoys her 'oversized' family, earth tones, and hanging out with her friends.

Will Snodgrass, #14, tight end and defensive end was picked to be captain of the week this week. Snodgrass is a senior this year and has high hopes as he is trying to break the single season sack record. Every week the football coaching staff picks a player who they think has worked hard, and deserves the honorary captain title. Even though the coaches pick the captain, the players also agree Snodgrass deserves the title. “He just plays, his character just shows it all…When he walks on the field its like ‘There’s Will, number 14,’ teammate Rafael Martinez said.
