Kaden McMullen has recently joined the staff for the rest of the school as our new paraprofessional. He is from O’Fallon, Missouri and graduated from Missouri State University with a marketing degree.

He took this job because he loves being around the school atmosphere.

Before he got his job here he was a preschool teacher for three years.

“So when this opportunity came about it was a no brainer,’’ he said. Kaden heard about this job through his uncle, Dan McMullen who is a teacher and also a football coach. He recommended the job.

“I love my nephew working here. I know he is great with kids and loves being in an environment like this,” Dan said. His advice to his nephew is to “let himself be let loose and give what he has to offer.”

Kaden also plans to be coaching football alongside his uncle.

His job is very important; it requires a lot of patience. He also helps around the classroom and goes where he is needed.

“He is important in our classrooms because he helps students get caught up on homework and he is able to step in if the teacher is helping another student.” Special Education teacher Natasha Gudehus said.
