Benton Dietrich is a sophomore at St. Charles High, in his first year of newspaper, coming off of taking Journalism his freshman year. Having strong opinions and at times being argumentative, he looks to do many opinion pieces and find out others’ opinions on topics as well. Benton currently plays on the JV Soccer team for SCHS, and spends a lot of free time online, studying politics, and playing chess. He is a fan of sports teams at home with the Blues - and abroad - being a fan of Chelsea in the Premier League. Overall Ben is most excited about St. Louis’ upcoming MLS team and is following their development and eventual introduction to American soccer very closely.
