With Courtney Gibson’s return, the fall play was successful and entertaining to both the audience, actors, and the backstage crew. 

“I loved trying something new,” senior Colleen Ney said. “It was super fun to be up on stage and I love all the things theater and musicals, so it was awesome to be in one.”

However, there were some complications backstage when it came to certain parts of the play and figuring out how to perform them.

“The toughest part about doing this play was figuring out how we were going to make the character of the Headless Horseman happen on stage,” teacher Courtney Gibson said.

Even with difficulties with determining parts of the play, everyone was able to find light of the situation.

“Working with Mrs. Gibson, McKenna, and [Lori Gibson] was a joy, and I am excited to work with them again for the musical,” senior Lauren Redlawsk said. “The actors are always a great group of people to work with, and seeing them grow in their acting skills throughout the whole play season was amazing.”
