The Community Club spent a majority of second semester getting the Community Club garden built, and it’s finally almost finished.
“On May 8th we have a picnic to celebrate the garden opening and the end of the year for Community Club,” Co-President Lilly Spencer said.
The club had planned on making the garden for a while, but finally got around to it this semester.
“The garden was for mental health in light of everything that has happened this school year, and doing something for the community would be really helpful,” Club Sponsor Jessica Ross said.

The garden will be used for many things, but the main thing is for it to be a safe space for students to go outside.
“We wanted a place outside for students to hang out and chill,” Co-President Puck Coble said. “We’re gonna dedicate it to mental health and give a safe space for students to be that isn’t school or home.”
