In St. Charles High School, there is a tradition to do an assassin game. This year it is a Senior assassin game.
The game has a roster of seniors who are all competing to get to the same goal.
“So basically we just shoot each other with our water guns,” said senior Hunter Wells.
The point of the game is to eliminate your target before you get eliminated. The way to eliminate someone is to shoot them with a water gun while they aren’t on school grounds and also not wearing any pool item.
The person who wins the game and outlasts the other people is dubbed the best senior.
“I really want bragging rights,” said senior Kai Moses.
The game goes on and on until there is one final senior who is the “best senior”.
The number of seniors is really unknown and not even the people competing even know, “I don’t know how many more people I have to shoot to win,” said senior Christian Terill.
The seniors who want to compete keep going at it until they are the final one remaining, then they brag to all of their friends.
“When I win, I’ll laugh in the other seniors faces,” said Wells.
In the end though it is just a fun little game where seniors can have a friendly competition with their friends. Even though it has potential to drive friends apart during it.
“I didn’t really talk a lot to the friends I was targeting,” admits Moses.
