On Aug. 20 business teacher Wendy Kirchhofer had a brand new schedule set for herself as she started the year. In previous years, Kirchhofer went day-to-day working with students and staff both at St. Charles High and St. Charles West. As former teachers took their leave, Kirchhofer was able to commit to full time at St. Charles High. This was important to her because not only could she be more involved with SCHS, but more personally, her students that are in FBLA.
Being here everyday isn’t the only thing Kirchhofer is excited about.
“I love a mix of everybody. The majority of students I have are juniors, which is nice to be honest,” Kirchhofer said.
New challenges can bring the best out of people.
“I know I’m going to overwhelm myself, I know I’m going to do it. But, I am excited to keep learning,” Kirchhofer said.
As the days pass, Kirchhofer hopes to keep expanding and building a stronger community of people, whether in FBLA or during one of her classes.
