On March 23-26th, St Charles High school’s very own DECA group will be headed to state in Kansas City, with the lead of President Chris Cortes-Lopez and Vice President Jayden Carey. Members have been working to get themselves ready.
“We are definitely prepared. Everybody really qualified. So, we are more than prepared,” Carey explained.
With so many qualifiers, success rates are a lot more likely for SCHS DECA.
State is only a month away, but even after that, the DECA status at St. Charles High can continue as more competitions pop up throughout the year.
“I will be going to Orlando, April 26 through May 1, for ICDC. It is our international DECA competition that over 25,000 people attend each year,” Carey said.
