The first day of freshman year was filled with new experiences. Everyone was getting down their new routine and meeting new people. It was a time to settle into a new environment and adjust to the new routine. Some students feel this is a positive change.
“I get more opportunities and we get more responsibilities and not getting told what to do as much,” freshman Ava Rosener said.
“I like the bell schedule more because you have more time to do assignments,” freshman Lily Watts said.
There are a lot of differences between middle school and high school. Middle School was to build study habits and get used to independence, now students get classes that are more advanced and they get more freedom, but also high responsibilities.
“I make sure I do all my work and not put it off,” freshman Makenna Radtke said.
With high school comes new improvements. This includes greater independence, richer school culture, and better facilities.
