Freshman Bryten Kendrick is already making an impact on the varsity softball team and is making fond memories, even this early in the school year.

Kendrick’s favorite so far this season is “probably my home run as a freshman.”

She enjoys the emotions she feels while playing and she said it’s her favorite part of playing softball.

“I like how I can feel free when I’m playing [softball] and I just have the option to really do anything,” Kendrick said. 

But, softball isn’t all she does for fun. She enjoys playing basketball as well.

While she is pursuing softball, she is unsure of where she will go with basketball.

“I’m on varsity softball and I don’t know about basketball right now,” Kendrick said, explaining how involved she is in school at the moment. And who knows, we might see more of her in this upcoming year.
