This year has started rather positively for the varsity football team. On Aug. 19 they defeated Duchesne High School 32-27 and on Aug. 26 they defeated Windsor High School 45-26 leading them off with a 2-0 record.

“I’m very excited about it,” senior Jaylin Williams said. “I feel like we can do the same thing against Windsor and just blow them out too.”

“It feels good, hopefully we can make it a 3-0 tonight,” senior Chris Short said. “We should be able to pick up the same tempo as the last game.”

“We’ve played well, but we have stuff to fix to keep our record,” sophomore Cody Thorne said. “Our team is very talented and have a good shot to do good things, as long as we keep our composure and don’t make stupid mistakes.”
