The Pirate Players made a return to the stage March 12-14 with this year’s musical performance of the comically outrageous “How to Succeed at Business Without Really Trying.” The show being the longest of the ones done in recent years, however, was only made worse by before show complications.

“As a group, the fact that we’ve been without some people at rehearsal (…) it’s easier when we have the full cast,” said junior Ethan Cox.

However despite all this the cast was still eager and ready to get the show going on opening night.

“I think it’s going to be pretty good, I think it’s gonna go great,” said freshman Chris Sanchez-Sotelo.

And that sentiment remained even after the show, the cast being ecstatic about the great job they had done.

“I think it went beautifully. I have to admit I was a little scared at first that we weren’t ready, but when opening night came, we did amazing,” said sophomore Logan Reusch.
