On Feb. 20, members Hezekiah Hanks, Rose Van Berkum, Jessie Morehead, Lauren Murphy, and Candice Hill participated in the Mu Alpha Theta‘s annual video contest to compete against other schools. 

The video included a choreographed dance to the song “The Middle” by Grey with custom lyrics along with other attributions to make the film. 

“Making the video was such a fun opportunity,” said Morehead. “I love the collaboration process and planning out the theme.”

This has been the second year St. Charles High Mu Alpha Theta club has participated in the nationwide competition, which overall helped them achieve much more this year. 

“This year we definitely felt more prepared as we had a better sense of what we were doing,” Morehead said. 

With multiple days of filming and planning, the members were able to complete the video just in time before the deadline, expecting to receive good results.

“Overall I think it turned out pretty good,” said Morehead. “We spent a lot of time on it and I’m so proud of the result.”
